Blind date [with Shiz and Greka]
Do you think St Valentine's Day is only for couples? Are you single,
and consider it a perfect excuse to stay home on that day? You're
wrong! This contest gives you a chance to choose between three people
of your preferred gender. Who knows, maybe the chosen person will turn
out to be The One? Of course the participant who chooses will not be
able to see the three contestants (and vice versa) until the end of
the show. After all it's the Blind Date!

[Blind Date] in the subject field. An application should contain the

Games Room Tournaments

- mahjong (only if at least two people who know how to play apply.
There are no prerequisites for entering the remaining three
tournaments, as panels allowing the competitors to learn all the rules
will take place beforehand. In case of mahjong it would be extremely
hard to become familiar with the rules that quickly.)
We suggest that you register for the tournaments as soon as possible.
It will allow us to estimate the duration of each event. Applications
should be sent by email to kgj.kn@uw.edu.pl.
Console Room Tournaments
   •Tekken VI [with Gagarin]
Tournament Rules:
Maximum number of participants: 32. We play in the Double Elimination
mode right away, you must win two out of three rounds to advance to
the next stage, hp 100%, time limit 60 seconds, random locations,
button setting at the beginning of the fight.
Additional information:
The coordinators provide control pads. Of course you may bring your
own controller (SixAxis, DualShock3, ArcadeStick; PS2 pads only with
adapters!).
Any participant who presses the PS button during someone else's match
will be disqualified.
Any participant who presses the START button without a good reason
while playing a match automatically loses the current round, unless
the opponent doesn't mind.
Whose cosplay is it? [with Kairi]
Do you really think all cosplayers look so much like their animated counterparts that you won't have any problems recognising the characters? In this competition anything can happen and we guarantee you'll be surprised more than once or twice. Enter and prove you have really seen it ALL! (Your task will be to recognise as many manga, anime and JRPG characters as you can).
Nabari no Ou Quiz [with Cici-chan]
Do you really think you know everything about Nabari? Are you familiar with all the techniques? You have no problems with following complicated character stories? Find out how much do you really know.
Charming Couples
You've been together for quite a while and you think you know everything about each other? Or maybe you've become a couple only recently and you'd like to get to know each other better? This contest is for all couples, whether in long-lasting or new relationships. Prove you know your partner like the back of your hand, or just show that you suit each other perfectly. Tons of great fun guaranteed!
Openings and Endings Backwards Quiz [with Lort and Ludek]
If you think you can recognise the openings of most series, see how well will you do when they're played backwards. The contest hosts will not speak backwards, so the ability to perceive sound forwards is also necessary
Valentine's Day Card Drawing competition [with LadyStyx and Mallary]
The contestant's task will be to make a Valentine's Day card using materials provided by the coordinators. You don't have to limit yourself to depicting mixed-sex couples. The participants can compete in two categories: fanarts and original works. Entries will be judged on creativity and artistic merit. The contestants will produce their works on-site within the time frame specified by the coordinators.
Creatively Humorous Hetalia contest [with LadyStyx and Mallary]
A tongue-in-cheek game, in which you can put your knowledge about the characters and events from the manga/anime to not necessarily serious use.
Name that Tune: SNES Edition [with Yui Tohma]
Do you remember those wonderful days when you spent hours sitting in front of the TV screen playing games on your Pegasus? The smell of burning accumulator accompanying your Dr. Mario and Bomberman endeavours? After all those years of gaming you're probably able to hum any tune from the most popular titles. If so, you might be a strong contender for victory in the "Name that Tune: SNES Edition" competition! Sign up and see if you remember what sound accompanied defeat in Arkanoid!
Perceptiveness competition
If you think you've seen so many series that it's hard to surprise you anymore, you should test your perceptiveness in this contest. The rules are simple: an anime clip, a sheet of paper, a writing instrument and your sharp eyes. The best will compete in the grand final, where we're going to set the bar sky high!
